UNRAI began with a word.
Un Rai . Romanian for one heaven. Not a metaphor. Not a creative choice. A declaration made by a man who had spent most of his life moving in the opposite direction.
Nabil Issa spent seven years in prison. He came out without excuses, without bitterness, and without any intention of explaining himself to anyone. He came out with one decision: to build something true.
He met Lorena. He returned to Islam in 2023 — not as a retreat, but as an arrival. He found the only God he had always been moving toward without knowing it. And in that clarity, a word emerged.
Un Rai. One heaven. One God. One standard.
UNRAI was born from that return — from the understanding that when a man aligns his life with truth, everything he builds carries that alignment. The objects. The materials. The intention behind every pour. The land beneath every plant.
This is not a brand story. It is a life story. And like all things that matter, it began with surrender.
I did not set out to build a brand. I set out to build something that could not be copied — because it comes from land we own, hands we trust, and a standard we refuse to lower. My name is Nabil Issa. This is my family business . This is UNRAI.
The estate.
Most luxury houses source their materials. They purchase wax, acquire fragrance oils, order packaging, and assemble. This is the industry standard. UNRAI does not operate by industry standards.
The Issa family cultivates four hectares of land in Romania, grown toward one purpose: complete origin. The aromatic plants used in every UNRAI fragrance are cultivated across seasons, harvested by hand, and processed with full knowledge of what they will become.
The beeswax comes from the family's own hives. Raw, traceable, handled from colony to pour without intermediary.
The soy is grown in the family's own greenhouses and fields — part of a self-sufficient estate built from research, discipline, and the refusal to depend on anyone else for what can be grown, kept, and harvested by one's own hands.
And the fragrances, every scent identity in the UNRAI collection are composed in-house, with the capacity to reproduce any olfactory reference in the world. Not approximations. Not inspired-by. The real thing, made from real origin, in a real atelier by a family that chose this level of control deliberately.
